Suluban Beach isn’t as easy to get to as other beaches in Bali, but it was worth the effort of walking down a series of staircases down a cliffside near Uluwatu. The payoff? Light, soft sand and an ocean with the clearest, warmest water that was just perfect for swimming.
The view at sunrise. You should also spend some time exploring the rocky inlets back toward the towering cliffside.
The path to the beach is steep, so wear sturdy footwear.
