Honoring the Hindu goddess of knowledge, Pura Saraswati (also known as the Ubud Water Palace) is a famous temple in central Ubud. The temple grounds are home to ponds filled with pink lotuses, and there are traditional dance performances in the evenings.

There's a dress code to enter the temple, and you can rent the appropriate sarongs and sashes if you don't bring them.
It’s especially lovely and serene just after sunrise before the crowds come in.
The dance performances in the evening. If you don’t want to spend money on tickets, you can pay for a meal instead and watch the show from a table at Cafe Lotus, located at the entrance to the temple grounds.
